Cash The Checks

I went to eat at Claim Jumper today with my girlfriend. It was the first time I had ever been there. I’ve been to Chilli’s, Black Angus, and Outback Steakhouse, so I figure this would be similar. It turns out it’s about the same, just that the food is overpriced.

A salad we ordered arrived first. We were eating it, and it was real good. Then that’s when it happened, I pointed to what looked like a dark colored lettuce leaf or maybe half an olive. I couldn’t tell because there was a lot of dressing on the salad. That’s when my girlfriend spotted a dead moth in the salad. It was pretty bad. There was an apology from the waiter, then the manager, and a discount on the food, but nothing can make up for a moth in a half-eaten salad. Needless to say, that’s the last time I ever eat at a Claim Jumper.
