Time is beginning to dwindle for the first-time homebuyers tax credit and whether or not Congress will extend the popular housing program is still up in the air. If you meet the eligibility requirements of the program and been waiting to take advantage of some of the ridiculously low mortgage rates currently available, you may want to close on a home sooner rather than later.
